Earlier the Hon'ble High Court, Chennai had pronounced that TBOP and BCR are equal to LSG and HSG-II respectively. The Dept. of Posts had filed SLP at Hon'ble Supreme Court against the order of High Court.

NOW it is learnt that the Hon'ble Supreme Court has rejected the SLP file by the Department.

After the implementation of the verdict of Hon'ble Court the TBOP/BCR officials may regain their status as LSG/HSG-II as they enjoyed previously.
