Foundation Day of Brahmapur Division was Celebrated
"Giving recognition to the employees for their hardwork,devotion,sincerity,discipline will definitely encourage the staff to perform the duties still better. Loving to the organisation as well as the state, will strengthen the oraganisation and provide inner happiness." these are few words of Shri S K Kamila. PMG Berhampur while addressing to the staff and others in a big gathering arranged in the main hall of Berhampur Head Post Office on the occassion of Foundation Day Celebration of Brahmapur Division on 02nd August 2010.
"Brahmapur Division was established on 1st August-1948.It has faced ups & downs during these 62 years. last year it observed the 1st Foundation Day. Due to hard work,dedication,sincerity and devotion to duty of the staff this division could be able to achieve a lot in various business products and break records in different spheres." said Shri Dibakar Patnaik, Sr Superintendent of Post Offices,Berhampur Division in his welcome speech.
In a colourful function, Chief Guest Shri S K Kamila,PMG has presented awards to the best of the division in different catefories viz.PA,Postman,Group-D,GDS for their deduication and achievemnt during the last year.Khallikote SO was awarded with the running trophy being the best SO of the year.
Among others Sr.Postmaster,Berhampur HO, staff from differents Post Offices Press media and others were present to enjoy the function.The function started at about 6-30 PM with opening song by the students of Ramahari Nagar Sarswati Sisumandir and ended with vote of thanks by Shri bijaya Kumar Satapathy,ASPOs(OD).
